James
Kelly Taylor, "Kelly" was born at 3:02 on
the 6th day of May, 2004. Kelly was 6 pounds, 11 ounces
of absolute perfect health, with a full head of
black hair. Jill ( his mother ), was more then tired,
for she was in labor with Kelly for almost 14
hours given the arrival at the hospital the previous
night. Jill was admitted and discharge the first night
we arrived, and returned the following morning around
7am on the 6th. 4 epidorals later, Jills pain started
to relieve, and Kelly came with in an hour. The first
second I layed eyes on him, my life, and world as I
knew it, changed for the better instantly.
Kelly
started of as a sleeper, as most children do in their
first months, but it didn't take long before he was
admiring, and taking in everything around him. For every
sound he heard, or ever motion he saw, Kelly would focus
and concentrate on where, why, and how it was taking
place. He is nearly 2 years old now, and still has the
same curiosity, and mentality that he did the first
time he opened his eyes. He's level of focus, and attention
to detail has amazed Jill and I on a daily basis, for
Kelly not only takes everything in around him, but he
quickly learns, and adapts to any and everything he
is interested in, (which is pretty much Everything).
As
read above, Kelly is very quick to catch on to the things
that he is into, but something's, like walking, he waited
until he was ready to persue. He had his times where
he wanted to walk, and could have, but he had a tendency
to want us to just pick him up and hold him, which we
think was just do to his sweet, loving nature that he
has. Never the less, once Kelly decided walking was
what he wanted to do, he went from the average baby
steps, to a full running sprint in a matter of a week.
Jill and I went from tired, to exhausted, in about 2
days. The fast past sprint still exists.
As for some of the things Kelly is directly
into, and some of his patterns, Kellys is definitely
a people person, and willing to talk to, and interact
with most anyone we introduce him to. He does
however, seem to wait until we say the right words,
like "say hi", "Kelly, this is...."
thus for he doesn't just approach strangers
or just any ol' buddy we're around. As for eating and
sleeping, he is defiantly a champ. Breakfast is a bit
of a small meal for him, though he has yet to go a day
without it, but lunch and dinner are not an issue
at all. Kelly is very much into his vegetables, primarily
peas, streen beans, and corn. He is a huge fan of most
all meats, with chicken being his favorite. Taco's,
hotdogs, cheeseburger's, and pizza, are on the top of
his list as well, though he only gets 1 of these on
special occasions. Fortunately, given we didn't really
introduce him to sweets, he's not but so much into them.
He's more of a cracker and peanut butter kind
of guy, though, don't get me wrong, he will tear up
a cookie every now and then.
As
for some of his favorites, I have provided a list to
the right of most them, though they can, and do change
at any given minute without warning, so ill try and
keep it up to date as often as possible for those interested.
